Nitin Menon grew up in advertising looking up to the likes of Bernbach, Ogilvy, French, Pandey and the rest of the Mad Men bunch. Having worked in top network agencies like Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, FCB and TBWA, Nitin has stretched his creative muscles as a writer in brands like Cadbury, P&G, Google, McDonalds and many others. His passion for great ideas earned him international acclaim like One Show and Cannes Lions amongst others, while also getting featured in the Impact magazine’s ‘Top 30 under 30’ in Indian advertising.
His passion for storytelling, saw him stepping into the director’s shoes, and believes that every story deserves to be told, be it on a 30 second canvas or a 2 hour one. One of his first short films, ‘Applied’, a whimsical satire on arranged marriages in India, shot in 2011 on the absolute tip of a shoestring budget, went viral on YouTube, way before the word ‘viral’ became viral, winning the ‘Audience Choice award’ at ISFFI 2011 (International Short Film Festival of India).
Currently working in India, Nitin wants to bring all his advertising experience and energy as a writer and director, to collaborate and create some exciting pieces of content across the world, on any canvas that fits.
